Our firm represented WRE Hellas S.A. and its subsidiary, Dodekanisos Aioliki S.A., in litigation concerning a €2.25 million solar park project in Lakonia. Acting for Dodekanisos Aioliki, the main contractor, we handled all legal stages against the constructors. A €183,193 claim was fully dismissed by the Single Member Court of Athens in 2023. Working closely with engineers, we built a strong defense and secured a court order for compensation for substandard workmanship.
We provide legal support to the ΦAETHON Consortium, a partnership between Energy Yperionas S.A. and Ilos New Energy MIKE, involving a leading German energy firm and a major Greek business group. The consortium is developing two 500 MW photovoltaic parks with molten salt thermal storage in Greece and has secured EU state aid. We advise investors on licensing, regulatory compliance, and project delivery.
We support ΦAETHON Batteries IKE in licensing and developing a 200 MW lithium-ion battery storage project in Domokos, Greece, consisting of three units three units with capacities of 100 MW (2-hour discharge), 50 MW (2-hour discharge), and 50 MW (3-hour discharge), all submitted to the Regulatory Authority for Energy. Our assistance covers the entire process—from regulatory approval to construction and operation.
Our firm provides comprehensive legal support to Energy Yperionas S.A. and Ilos New Energy Greece MIKE—two leading European energy companies—on the development of one of Europe’s largest photovoltaic parks with integrated storage in Fthiotis, Greece.
We lead the full permitting process, including the preparation and submission of the installation license and the complete connection agreement application. We have also secured approximately 6,600,000 m² of land through a variety of contractual arrangements, all handled entirely by our legal team. In parallel, we represent our clients in their negotiations and communications with IPTO, ensuring regulatory compliance and a seamless path through development and construction.
We provide legal support to City Electric S.A. for the 498.15 MW “KAVIRIA” offshore wind farm in Limnos Island, Greece’s most advanced offshore wind project, with terms of licensing and securing funding . Handling complex environmental, energy, and competition law issues, we assist with licensing, permits, and coordination with authorities. We also filed a petition for annulment against Law 4964/2022 before the Supreme Administrative Court, with the hearing pending.
1. Renewable Energy Transaction with INTRAKAT – Legal Counsel
Our firm provided legal support to Agricultural Cooperative “ENOSI AGRINIOU” (EAS) in a major renewable energy transaction with Actor Group of Companies (formerly INTRAKAT S.A.), covering 560,7 MW of solar and wind projects. We provided legal advice on transaction structure, regulatory compliance, drafted and negotiated the MoU, and assisted with the Share Purchase Agreement.
2. Legal Counsel for Groundbreaking Virtual Net Metering Rights Transfer
Our firm provided legal support to the Agricultural Cooperative “ENOSI AGRINIOU” (EAS) in a strategic transaction involving the transfer of licensed virtual net metering PV project rights to a major corporate energy consumer. We led negotiations, offered business strategy advice, drafted the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and ensured regulatory compliance through expert legal counsel
